SEVERE ACUTE RESPIRATORY SYNDROME: HOW TO PREVENT?

Here are a few ways to prevent SARS. Remember, prevention is ALWAYS better than cure.

  1. Wash your hands before and after meals.
  2. Wash your hands before and after answering nature's call.
  3. Wear a mask when going out; you are recommended to use N95 masks. They can filter 95% of the virus in the air from entering your body.
  4. Avoid crowded areas like shopping complexes, etc. Visit them if necessary. Crowded areas are the most suitable places where the SARS virus can spread easily.
  5. You are not advised to shake hands. If you have to do so, wash your hands after that immediately. You are advised to bow as a mark of respect or gratitude etc.
  6. If you have a temperature that exceeds 38.5 degrees Celcius, flu, cough and the inability to breathe properly, seek medication immediately.

We hope that by following these safety measures, you can help us prevent SARS.
